Geotextile fibers are made of polypropyleneand polyester with ultraviolet stabilizers to resist degradation caused by exposure to sunlight. Polypropylene and polyester are inert textile polymers available and highly resistant to chemicals, mildew and bacteria commonly encountered in the soil. Different grades of Geotextile can be applied in construction engineering , subsurface drainage,erosion control, containments, dams, landfills, Tunnels, road works, landscaping,
marine works and many more applications depending on the project requirements. HIFELT N is for non woven geotextile and HIFELT W is for woven geotextile.

HIFELT N is non-woven geotextiles manufactured fibers, which randomly oriented and therefore, the holesbetween the fibers are highly variable in size. Similarly, the fibre distribution across the fabric as a whole is less regular than in a woven fabric. Heat bonded nonwoven fabrics tend to be compressed by the action of the hot rollers and are generally considered to be thin.

HIFELT W is a woven geotextile, made of high tenacity yarns interlaying at right angles of two or more sets of yarn or tapes. They are endowed with high tensile strength. Geotextiles are flat fabrics consisting of two mutually perpendicular sets of threads bonded with fabric weave. Woven geotextile beneficially used for a wide range of both cohesive and non-cohesive soils and they support quick formation of a natural soil filter.
